Newman Arms
your comments review this restaurant
A mix of young and old give the Newman Arms and the upstairs pie shop an unexpected atmosphere with young ad execs nestling in the snug bar and cozy restaurant alongside older builders and office workers. The food is honest and high quality, serving up British favourites such as Steak and Kidney Pie and Bread and Butter pudding with friendly and efficient service. The menu also has regular specials and vegetatian options served with fresh seasonal vegetables all at very resonable prices.

The Newman Arms is best known for its absolutely fab pies, served in its upstairs, small but cosy restaurant with cheery red checked tablecloths on every table.
Some pies are old traditional favourites, and others are new & different combinations, but all are fresh, with high quality ingredients & absolutely delicious. A great place for a "winter warmer" visit. The waitresses are friendly, and the service old fashioned & fast- a must for fans of traditional British grub!
