This bar has resisted the current trend to turn everywhere into a ghastly pub. Yes, agree with Claire about the locals! A right crazy bunch of drunks, musicians, poets and outright nutters. Never any violence, well, hardly ever. Big Albanian bouncer on the door at weekends is a bit of an intellectual. Interesting guy! Live music on Thursdays and Fridays and often open real late. Pint of Guinness is £2.40
Particularly like the huge stuffed buffaloe head on the wall! great selection of music on the FREE jukebox.

This place has a great atmosphere candels everywhere, wooden interior with interesting painted designs on some walls, fireplace... Great jukebox and on Sundays I know that they have live irish music. Friendly staff and an intersting bunch of locals. One of my fav pubs in London!
