What a place... my first try in a Gastro Pub... coming from Denmark it was an inspiration. Fantastic Food ! A high level of service but without crowding your space.

I wish I lived in London so I could be a regular guest :-)

Knock out food, cracking service and thee ex-marco peierre white chef Jez hollingsworth make this a stunning pub and dining room experience. I've been there to sample a quick lunch to a deliciously relaxed dinner. I'm vegetarian and even I walked away a happy bunny. Even after winning the time out best gastro pub it remains my favourite north london gastro-pub. Love it. And the staff are accomodating and very friendly even when the place is full. We went there recently when the weather turned and their outdoor drinking area means you always seem to want one more drink!

Absolutely fantastic place! Went there for Sunday lunch based on reviews i'd read and wasnt disappointed. Went for the fresh crab spring roll starter which was stunning (£7). Then shared the rib of beef with mustard crust, french beans and gratin potato (£45 for two) which was one of the best roast's i've ever eaten! The service is as good as you'd wish to receive without being fussy which is always a thumbs up in my book! The wine list was also fantastic ,with a bottle to suit every budget. It really is a beautiful little place with a fantastic and relaxed atmosphere where i'll be returning to again and again. Oh.....and they serve a tremendous pint of Guinness!!!!

This is my favourite gastro pub/ restuarant. The food is always absolutely excellent and the service is laid back but efficient. We go here for special treats - if i got paid enough I would be there every weekend - and it never fails to hit the mark. Its a nice place to sit and have a cocktail or two before dinner as well.
