Definitely a pub with a particular atmosphere. Signed pictures of Mad House everywhere; they lok to be regulars.
The pub itself has friendly, efficient staff with drinks at an average cost. When you walk into the dublin castle you see groups of people standing together and talking and laughing; the pub has an old, but comforting feel.
At the back of the pub lies another story. A venue for small and up and coming bands to play. A charming and delightful but basic back room, but again full of atmosphere. Undoubtably deserves a visit.
