A large group of friend and I were at Elysium on Saturday night and can I just say how superb the music was, the DJ really had his finger on the pulse.

The main dance floor was very crowded and full of people who thought they were far too beautiful to be in such a cramped space - a lot of pushing and squeezing.

We ate beforehand in the restaurant, chiefly to avoid any nonsense at the door with bouncers. The food was expensive (£45 for three courses plus a huge service charge) and not worth it! The lobster was chewy and far from fresh and the apple crumble was made from terrible tasting apples.

My recommendation- avoid the food but a great venue for dancing the nigh away!!

Myself and group of friends have been to the club on a few occasions and have always had a good night! although the venue can get quite cramped! Elysium has lovely decor, drinks are pricey however most clubs/ bars in central london are quite expensive so it shouldn't really come as a suprise. Its not the type of club that you can try and blag your way into, if your not on the list your not coming in! Maybe not the the type of place to go every week but nice to sample for a birthday or special occasion.
