The Washington

I am a devoted fan of the Wash and couldn't be happier that it is my local. I do however have a couple of gripes about the new management. Firstly, why did they take away all of the bar stools? This totally ruined my favourite past-time of sitting at the bar and smoking a fag! Next, why have they put pictures everywhere of the owners dog! I don't need to see that. The Wash is an institution and shoudl be left alone, it wasn't broken - SO DON'T TRY TO FIX IT!!!

My local and very proud of it I am to. Great for a drink while lounging on leather sofas. Good size, not claustrophobic like many other pubs. Definitley worth going for a drink or two. On more than one occasion I have gone in with the intention of 1 early afternoon drink and ended up staying till closure...

1 minute from primrose hill, lovely location. Food excellent, great atmosphere, comfy seating. Local haunt for many celebs living around the Belsize park , Hampstead area.

Bar staff very friendly would definatley recommend it for a Friday after work or even a Sunday chill out.
