Booty's Riverside Bar

I love Bootys but only for location and the history seeping out of the walls. I do think they could improve their menu and introduce a "bistro" atmosphere. Do they still have the odd drunken office do there? Aaaa, the memories

I have been a visitor to Booties over the past ten years, maybe four to five times a year normally at lunch times. The view out to the Thames is through the old fashioned style window panes can be very relaxing , watching the river traffic glide past whilst sipping on a chilled glass of beer or wine. I have only ever had the basic style of food i.e. a ploughmans which has always been satisfatory, the hot food counter always looks well stocked , but I have never been tempted.
The potential is certainly there to be one of the most enjoyable quaint settings in the Docklands area

As a bar bootys is great, it is different from your average docklands pub. It has a great wine list and is cosy enough for real eastenders to relax in. The management are friendly locals who make you and your children feel at home.
However the food isnt good, it fills the gap but I wouldnt recomend it .
Bootys is a fantastic pub though the views are great and it is my favourite local.
