I have been a member for about a month, it's a very stylish place but definitely a business and older crowd more than a hip media crowd like you would get at Blacks or Soho House. As well as being smaller than either of those two the big difference with most other clubs is that it's a similar price to join but the drinks and food are a bit more pricey - more like a mid-range restaurant but with vastly superior food so you don't get that sense of extra value like you do at Blacks. BUT I can't imagine bumping into a coked up loony at Adams on a Friday night either, or having to listen to loud 'bangin choonz' so it has its advantages! It kind of tries to be hip and cool but ultimately it's a very smart, upmarket, more refined club with in general very helpful staff and an interesting range of events and services.

fab place where as a freelancer you can work in library (free access to broadband pcs or use of wireless) then go down and chill out for a drink. if you go on a monday you can have some fab food for only £10 for two courses - and it is lovely food in nice surroundings. you are also not too close to the next table which is a rare luxury in london. you can also go for a dance and you will not feel out of place with early 20s something - who ever thought that once you reach 30+ you dont go out dancing?? one great point the adam street staff are absolutely lovely. not at all a pompous club where you feel you cant belong. i love it and defintely do recommend it! but then i am a member there and have been for a while... check it out!

I like the layout of this place....simple yet effective, the bar service was fine.....not great but not shabby either. The prices for drinks are the standard rate agmonst similar venues around central london. The atmosphere is chilled out, the clientele are generally friendly although you do the few the few who think they are above and beyond everyone else in the room. I dont think I'd become a member as there are better places around but I'd definately go again for one off nights!
