Piles people in and feeds them cheap - if you're after poor beer and bland but filling food then this is the place to be. However, it was the venue for the worst meal i have ever had in London (made all the more remarkable as i'm not prone to hyperbole). It was even worse than the time i made scrambled eggs without having noticed that the butter was rancid. The offending item was a so-called "chicken caesar salad". Faults included: a total absence of chicken (in retrospect, if the quality of the other ingredients was an indication of what the chicken would have been like, this was probably a blessing); no cos lettuce, very little lettuce of any kind, a lot of shredded cabbage; strips of dried out "italian style cheese" masquerading as parmesan; and dressing so offensive, sweet and globulous that if the cook had sneezed on my salad i would have preferred it.
A learning experience.
