Visited the bar a couple of months ago with friends. The glowing red exterior tends to stand out from the rest of the standard bars in Farringdon and kind of draws you in. We were sat in the cosy basement bar and suddenly greeted with the bizarre yet dulcet tones of a professional Japanese karaoke singer. Definitely one of the more bizarre nights out I've had in London. Upstairs, the DJ's are usually pretty cool. Go early to avoid the (admittedly small) entry fee. I always begrudge paying to get into a bar...

What a great place to meet up after work for drinks.
The cocktails are amazingly tasty (especially the Tokyo Iced Tea) the sushi is delightful and the atmosphere is definately Shoreditch/Hoxton style. Leather couches, funky soul beats playing in the background, oldschool arcade machines like space invaders and the modern oriental art on the walls, the bar has a new age Tokyo kitsch feel to it.
Definately a go if you want to relaxe with a friend, a cocktail or maybe 4.

Great atmosphere combined with an eclectic mix of phat tunes from up and coming djays, the ideal place to get your groove on and warm up for the night ahead. Especially Primitive, held every month around the 15th.

Great place to meet for pre-club drinks. Reasonably priced bar and great music atmosphere. The retro spacies machines make for lots of fun.

I totally disagree - I have always had a fantastic time at this bar. Great food, great music, great cocktails - what more could you want
This is one of the original dj bars and beats socks of the competition

if you want to go to a restaurant/bar where youre not treated as a the consumer by arrogant staff who have no idea how to serve the public then this really is the place for you.
If your're out and want to have a good time around Farringdon there's loads more places where your'e actually welcome!!
