Clerkenwell House

-Great location: near the city and West End. A very relaxing atmosphere with funky decor and winning tunes played all evening. A great underground pool room with comfy couches to hustle around on. I've been half a dozen times and always enjoyed myself! I always take visitors here, which is a massive compliment coming from a real Londoner who knows the London bar scene pretty well....

Loved the pool, sofas and ample space. Though sitting in the basement can add to little bit of trouble as one has to go up for drinks.

I love this place. Lost an afternoon there last summer, playing pool and drinking wine spritzers! By late evening we were sat upstairs on comfy sofas exchanging pool hall anecdotes with friendly strangers. A 'cool' place - naturally, not painfully. Have since been back many times.
