Al's Bar Café

comfy leather couches and seats, very efficient bar staff. was even offered a taste of a few beers to decide on which to order! great selection of beers on tap (blonde, german, belgian): hoegaarden (4quid pint), leffe (2.50quid half-pint), paulaner (4quid pint), etc. friend had a lovely mojito for 6 quid. music was beat-heavy, decently fast and loud, kept people happy on their feet. one gripe was that it could've been a wee bit dimmer. but still, nicely lit. good location at the end of exmouth market, facing the triangular open space outside. and of course, conveniently located opposite the rosebery ave kebab shop. :D
