Best cocktails I've had - and Cubana's are all the better for sticking to fresh fruits like strawberry, mango, lime and pineapple rather than the contrived and obscure rubbish so many bars churn out. Good, friendly place for girls to hang out, friendly, not expensive and some cool Latin music late nights

I moved nearby and I've made this place my local - apart from the cocktails, which are great value, esp. at Happy Hour (and better than in far more expensive bards), they also serve Budvar and good bottled beers at sensible prices and the food is very different and excellent value.

1.00am close, live Salsa and v. genial crowd plus hard working, motivated staff are all the cream on one of the best cocktail bar-restaurants in London

What sold me on this place was we went last Thursday and it was booked solid for a private party. Instead of giving us the shoulder, the guy on the door apologised, let us look around and organised a free cocktail jug if we came back - which we did!

This place is a massive change from the cliche London bar scene with its contrived cocktails made from stale juices - Cubana's fresh margaritas, daiquiris and mojitos were great (and all the better for the free jug we claimed). As it was Friday the place was packed and we couldn't get a table, but judging by the scrummy food passing us from the kitchen, it's as good as the drinks. Nice, relaxed crowd and cute Cuban band - 'nuff said?

Very cool place with nice crowd, excellent tropical cocktails and decent food. Gets busy late when the live music's on, so not the place for a quiet dinner on Fridays or Saturdays. What make's Cubana good is that it's very different from what you normally get in London

This place is a real discovery - not huge, and set back from Waterloo Station, they really make an effort with their cocktails which stick with the tropical/Caribbean theme - fine Mojitos, Daiquiris, Margaritas etc and you can see they use fresh fruits and juices. Decent food too, inc. snacks and tapas as well as full meals - downside is can get very busy late Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but friendly staff and nice crowd

The best for cocktails - I had a strawberry and mango margarita made with really fresh fruits and juices, which hardly anyone else does - a breath of fresh air after all of the me-too minimalist bars selling second rate cocktails. Real Cuban rum is a plus as is late night live Salsa music - Cuban Cristal beer to be voided, tho' Budvar on tap is well priced. Good cheap food too and freindly bunch, tho gets busy

Fabulous bar close to Waterloo. Happy hour until 6.30pm on weekdays is good value with 2 for 1 offer - even on jugs of sangria! (even if it is not very strong!) Salsa music playing and room to dance by the main bar and second separate bar for private parties. Very sociable place - small and friendly and you will find yourself dancing with people you have only just met. Great atmosphere, very relaxed with attractive staff rushed off their feet.

Highly recommended after a hard day's work.
