Imagine, a stroll along by the London Eye and you come across an oasis by the Thames. Whether it's a wine bar snack, pasta or salad dish on their many seating areas amongst potted palms, either looking out over the Thames or in their fine restaurant upstairs, you can be sure of fine food, wines and above all, a welcoming smile from their helpful staff. It's my favourite place for lunching at present and I can't wait to take in the view over a glass of wine on a summer's evening after a stroll along the South Bank.

I lived at the Whitehouse across from the ArchDuke and frequented this place over several years. It is a fine place. I still go back often. Sometimes just for a business meeting (it's nice and private during the day) - great from 4 -7 pm.
Dinner menu is wonderful. The best thing though is the service. Manager PAUL (a friendly New Zealander) has been there years and is a wonderful host. Tell him Bill Smith sent you and you will be treated well (or worse!!!).

A Fantastci night was had by all.
Can cope easily with large numbers and special dietry requirements.
Service was friendly and efficient.
I would highly recommend the Archduke to everyone, no matter how big or small your party is.
