In a word, gorgeous! I think the refurb has been done incredibly. The surroundings are very chic, without coming off as sterile or uncomfortable. The drinks were positively delicious, and the service was impeccable. I would absolutely recommend this to any of my friends.

Having heard it had been recently refurbed, decided to check out an old favourite. Very disapointed! Rockwell used have a lovely loungy feel, lots of soft lounges to sit and enjoy a drink. Now very clinicl has lost all its character. To top it off it has be come an area for what the 'creative' director (a sycophantic queen with no style or substance) says is to be experimental and interactive art and music. This guy wouldn't know good art or music if it hit him over the head! (and i sincerly hope someone does) People like this should be band from Bars! One up point was the drinks (though slow in coming) where of a very high standard. Bring back the good old days I say, Rockwell has definetly lost's its way!

We popped in for a few drinks after an evening out. The service was very good and attentive as you need. Depends on which member of staff. Didn't like the 12.5% add on to the bill that I spotted too late! However, they are starting to do 'things' in the bar as explained by Sam the new creative director. The item on the night we called in was several excellent singers and a keyborad player providing good low key renditions of easy listening music, newish stuff in the main. Sam says that he is planning not to have regular items, but vary them so that the next time you visit it is a fresh experience, this will include daytime as well as evening entertainment. We will certainly go back again and see if it works! When I first used the bar when it opened it had an austere feel, that has mellowed and the music on the night added that extra dimension of atmosphere. Recommended.

An excellent bar all around. The staff have always been great to me. The food is very simple, but I mean that in a positive way. Combining good quality, simple ingredients, in a non-pub fashion is a style I appreciate. The atmosphere is great, never too crowded or too noisy (whenever I've been) and always easy to talk to whoever you're with.

Great. Really cool bar.

Has it just changed its name to Trafalgar? Change of ownership?

Recently went to the Rockwell bar london and although the food and drinks were average, the service delivered by a young man was fantastic. He was friendly and charming to all our group. The best bar man. He intruduced himself as matt and gave exspectional service. The waitress was as firendly polite and helpful. Unusual considering it was so busy. Will definatly be back.

A superb bar, with a great selection of bourbon drinks and cocktails. The staff are fantastic, along with the whole ambience of the place.

A great place to chill-out and unwind after a hectic day out in London. Unfortunately the terrace was not open, but should be for thew summer nights coming.

A great venue.
