This is the most superb wine bar, I have ever been to... The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic and can´t be compared to anything else! The cobwebbed wine bottles and the candlelight brings you in a very special frame of mind.

For me the most important thing about any place is 'ambiance', the atmosphere and feel of the place. Gordon's is unique, quiet but noisy, light and yet dark, with secluded corners; and of course good wine and candlelight.

I don't want you to go there because I want it to stay the place I know, as somewhere to lose myself, and think about the person I'm with, somewhere were I can come out of the door into the street, and be suprised I'm back in London.

Go if you must, you'll never regret it; except perhaps that you can't go every night.
