Been to this place a few times and always had a good night. Really querky, and definitely entertaining if you like people watching. Certainly for the older crowd, late 20's/ early 30's, so nice that there aren't a bunch of sloaney 18 yr olds running around it. Helps if you ring in advance and put your name on the guest list. Drinks can be a bit pricey for what they are however.

In a word, terrible. Bad service, unoriginal decor, unfriendly and stuffy atmosphere, awful music and pokey bar and dancefloor downstairs. There are far better places to go in the area so why waste time and money on this.

I am a member here and whenever we go here we are always treated impeccably. The service is excellent (Michelle is a legend) and the managers are fantastic, very helpful. I feel bad that people have had bad experiences here, but they are really the exception rather than the rule. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Without doubt the least friendly bar that i have been to in london in the last 2 years that i have been living here. the manager has a real chip on his shoulder - shouting at my female friend whose birthday it was for having the temerity to eat one of the free canapes before he wanted her to and then trying to throw her out.

i was then thrown out for him seeing me talking about him to a friend near to the beginning of the evening, which then resulted in the rest of my group leaving as well - idiotic and a big money loss for him.

If there was any bar in london that i would reccomend less i would, but this takes the prize hands down.

do NOT go here!

A quiet place, on a quiet road. I went there with a bunch of deaf people the other night (I was wearing ear muffs) and apparently we were the luckiest people in there because the music was awful. Throughly enjoyed bursting out at the seams whilst queueing for my drink. V hot barmaid called May Calhil

decadent, intimate, great champagne and cocktails, unusual location on a very busy road. easy to miss if you don't know it's there, which adds to it's appeal. And the owner is very friendly.
