sorry to put a dampner on things, but my review of the pub is not so good. We went there on 30/12/04 and although the atmosphere was o.k. and the service was good it was not quite what I had expected. My wife had the cod which was far too salty. The guy I took to be the restaurant manager replaced it with steamed sea bass which was ok. I am now informed by my wife that we were charged an extra £2 for the change of meal. I am not happy and would definitely have challenged this if I had known. We went to the Admiral Codrington on recommendation, I am not sure if I would go back. Lunch with drinks and the 12.5% service charge was £80.

this is the best pub of london, with the quietest barmen I've never seen...
for a french girl, tourist in london, it's the pub i loved the most. i met so good people, i so enjoyed the pimm's and champagne, i spent there the best times during my stay.
