I love this pub. As a CAMRA member I always like to find guest beers served in good condition, and there's a good bottled selection for when I don't fancy the draft option. The Wednesday night DJ is a hoot; his quizzes, with prizes purchased at the local pound shop, are great fun and the music not so loud that you can't have a conversation. Wednesday night's probably my favourite time for going, but it's just as good to enjoy a quiet beer or two there on other occasions.

For such a little pub this was a vast disappointment. Unadvertised is a Wednesday night 50’s port-a-DJ. The music was so loud several of us asked for it to be set to something more becoming the environment. Staff were unhelpful in this respect and we were not surprised to be joined by other fleeing clients at a pleasant pub around the corner.

The reason I gave the drinks a 9 star rating was that this is one of the few pubs in Soho that actually makes a point of picking special beers.All kinds of weird and wonderful imports from Germany and Eastern Europe. Well worth a visit, nice pub, with a civillised clientel.A bit pricey, but then, tell me a boozer in the West End that isn't.
