Kettner's

Something nice (well, different) about eating pizzas or burger and chips with a great bottle of Lanson. Service always good. We thought we were in some sketch when the pianist asked us to watch the piano whilst she went on her break.

Kettners is truely fantastic! I love it, the Champagne bar with it's sumptuous surroundings and great Jazz is truely amazing. You feel like you are in an oasis of calm.

The food is great too! Enjoy it!

I'm from New York City, and lived for a year in London. For 3 of those months I worked at Kettner's as a "comme" waitress. Relating it back to NY, Kettner's is the Sardi's of London- where theatre go-er's eat before the show, and the performers go after the show. The food is outstanding - especially the prawn pizza (if you have any liking for prawns, you HAVE to order this dish). While I highly recommend this place, unless you have deep pockets, there are more reasonable pubs in the area (especially around nearby Picadilly) to go and have a few drinks.

Kettner's is great, really unique but I'm surprised no-one's mentioned the Champagne bar as thats a major reason for going there. They have an enormous range (at a price though!) and the rose champagne the people sitting next to us were drinking looked - and they said was - fantastic. Yes, the Pizza Express is nice but the bar is cosy and friendly and the perfect place to meet friends and celebrate. Different to anywhere else I know in Soho it just feels really special.

Kettners is the ideal place if you want to eat, drink and have a decent conversation with friends. The atmosphere is chilled out and non-pretentious and the food is great, Pizza express but much better!

Its so refreshing to find a geniune hit among the rest of the soho pretenders.

I'm from Yorkshire and when I come down to London, Kettners is the place I like to come to for a chilled out meal before dancing the night away.

Food is gorgeous but whatever you do don't order the Sambuca - me and my friend did and didn't see much change from 12 quid!!!!

Decor is a bit dated but the atmosphere and the quick service makes up for it. A must!!!!
