Absolutely cracking form! How this place has escaped my, as well as my friends, attention is a mystery; but what a place: loads of space; lods of seats; v. reasonable prices; genial crowd. I really can't recommend it enough....brilliant.

Absolutely a place to keep quiet. Absolutely loved it. so much space. quite hard to get to but once there great and relaxed fun. amazing decor as gallery/shops during day. definately go back, great place for a party as soooooooo much space and all white and modern.

An absolute peach of a bar. A real quality gem...nothing like you could ever imagine from the outside but a really cool concept without an overtly in your face cool vibe.
The reviews above this are incredibly subdued...I think I know why.. it's the kind of place that you want to keep quiet about.
The bar is basically set in amongst artist studios and is set under the Westway. From the outside it is hard to work out if you are in the right place and indeed having to press a buzzer to gain access to the building is a tad disconcerting but your efforts will be greatly rewarded as the bar is spot on.
The drinks are reasonably priced as is the food. £2.75 for almost a pint isn't too bad.
50 pence for a game of American Pool is fantastic though, so I spend many a happy hour in there playing a bit of cool pool. It's far from your normal pool playing environment but the large space makes you feel comfortable to be yourself without being in anyone's face so to speak.
Absolutely great place to discover. Make sure not to go on Thursday, Friday or Saturday as its members only on those nights.
Otherwise you're all good to go.

Tucked away 'Under the Westway' where the Westway flyover actually forms the roof to the space, this place is one of my favourite local spots. Gorgeous comfy leather seating, good cooking and top cocktails in a really inspiring environment. Oh, and there's table football, magazines and the odd art installation to keep your fidgety friends out of mischief. I'd reccommend phoning ahead to book a booth table... & enjoy!

It seems that everytime I come along to Under the Westway I know I'm going to walk away knowing I had a great time. The setting makes you feel very cozy.
