Wow! Thats is the jist of our experience. We had an amazing time when we visited Trader Vic's in London. Absolutley Amazing. Awesome drinks, amazing staff, and beautiful. A must see adventure!

This place was fantastic! Great drinks, highly important, even better food and delightful friendly staff taking into account it is a posho place. Can somtimes contain the sort of snooty people who think they own the world, but staff can work their charm to elegence! witnessed it myself! great place to take a lady friend, very romatic. decor was amazing!!! transported from London to Hawaii 10/10

Was at Trader Vic's 18.09.04. Service was good until we complained that the sirloin steak was dry. The waiter told us that it was because it was done on a wood fire. ( In that case why do they cook steak this way? ). Overall the quality of the food was poor, service was good up to the point of the complaint, and then became very frosty.

Overall the price was very expensive given the quality of fare on offer. I would not eat there again.

Had such a fantastic time when we went with the girls for a few drinks, that I had to go and sample the menu. New twist to Thai food, great, tropical cocktails, high class service and busy atmosphere made for a great night out.

The last time I visited Trader Vics was in the late 80's I cant believe its still going. Tucked below the Hilton on Park Lane.

Even thenit was like a tired and washed out Disney theme park with their varied rum based cocktails.

Surely somebody has ventured beyond the Bamboo portals into the Tikki bar world since then?

Or maybe it died and is now the Luai in the sky.
