Finished up here after our amazing dining experience at Nobu, yes agreeed it is pretty cool though very dark and the music was cheesey! would defiently recomend to anyone who wanted a night to remember and we had just that! Rock stars for the night...

As we were staying in the Metropolitan hotel we decided to check out the """Famous""" Met Bar after dinning at Petrus. What a disappointment, like Tu said in the review below the service was was not to good. Although the cocktail select was massive. Music atrocious like Tu says. Very very dark and small, probably so you cant see the masses and masses of celebrities, NOT. The were a few D list celebs like Will Mellor and Craig Charles. An experience to say the least

stayed in the hotel for our 12th year wedding anniversary,no complaints about the hotel.Fab room and service.Had dinner at the Boxwood Cafe and returned to the "Met Bar" for the rest of the evening,what a disappointment,found a table to sit at with my wife and waved franticly at the waiting staff to be served for about 10 mins, in the end went to the bar and ordered our drinks.Next thing the music was atrocious , Barry manilow and copa cobana come on, thats not retro thats just pure crap.Why the hell some one famous with loads of cash would want to spend the night at the "Met Bar"is beyond me ,maybe its because its so dark and small that no one would recognize them.

Service and quality is fantastic, you get what you pay for! However needs more lighting and was smaller than i thought but it was still spacious.

Went to a private party at the Met Bar last night - fantastic vibe, lots of really interesting people and generous drinks flowing.

The highlight was the entertainment - brilliant popstar comedian, Gary Le Strange. What a Rock God! Amazing voice and dress sense to match - never seen anything like it! Move over the Darkness!
