Claridge's Bar

I love this place, it's very old fashioned and the service is spot on. Delicious bar nibbles brought to the table by polite and curtious waiters. The drinks were wonderful, all the old classics and some brilliant cocktails on top of that. Perfect for a romantic pre-dinner drink.

I loved it, I felt really special being there. The decor is great, it has a fabulous Chandelier and comfy chairs. We had a few drinks in the bar before moving into the restaurant. The staff were friendly and everything they do there is spot on. I had a look around at everyone drinking and dining there and it looked to me like everyone was enjoying the atmosphere and being looked after. Treat yourself right and go for a drink there!

Walking out of the rain into the warmly lit timeless claridges bar, tastefully decorated with deep red leather stalls and beautiful art deco furnishings really makes you feel special. Classical attentive service, fantastic pastry snacks and perfectly made cocktails accompanied by lighlty playing hotel lobby music wrap up perhaps what feels to be the 'ultimate hotel bar' experience. Even if its for one crazy drink, make it a glass of champagne, Claridge's is the place to do it.

I had a couple of drinks before dining next door. The drinks and service were at best average. There are a lot better bars around. Wouldn't rush back unless I was on the pull for some up-market S.E Asian totty.

Walking passed on the way to work, I often wonder what a visit to a place such as Claridge's would be like. Since most of us can only dream of staying in such a magnificant establishment and eating the finest cusine without lightly sweating at the thought of that final bill, i rounded up a group of friends for 'one night only' at Claridge's Bar. Prices are steep but you are drinking in one of the top hotels this world has to offer. Decor is stunningly tasteful, as are the cocktails accompanied by faultless, stylish service. A truely memborable evening which i can't wait to relive, at the end of every month!! Recommend the Polish Martini (not too many though, taxis are right and right again, outside!)
