I had a fabulous time at Waxy's while I vacationed in London. My favorite parts of Waxy's were the service and the atmosphere. It was crowded almost every night and I met the best people. Y'all made visiting London my favorite vacation!! "Hi" to Justin and Simon from Lisa! They are fabulous bartenders!!

If you went into Waxy's when it wasn't too busy I'm pretty sure you'd have a great time (despite being £30 down after a round of beers). The atmosphere is pretty amazing and they do seem to serve most drinks you could possibly want (although the staff can be pretty off-hand at times like in a lot of London bars). The bar itself does allow you to imagine yourself back in the dark ages (very smokey, dim lights etc.) and so the atmosphere is great - but on a busy night there is no way it is worth the hassle.

Got there after 9pm, mistake, the bar was packed and we had no were to hang or leave our coats, which resulted in wearing mine all evening. A colleague had drinks spilt down the back of his leg.
The service was nice and quick.
I will not be going back in a hurry.

Allways busy on weekends. Service is too slow, takes ages to order. I always feel like a sardine in a tin, you can not move.
As a bar, is a nice place to go., when not busy.
