Denim

I stumbled into Denim on a Wednesday evening with a few pals for a post-work retox.

We ordered our drinks and although it was 'happy hour', we were hit with a whopping £38 bill for 4 people. Our drinks were ordinary spirits and mixers, with the exception of my measure of spiced rum and coke..We had the exact same round for under £15 in Maxwells' in house bar, Covent Garden.

The decor is very now, lots of bright colours and neon, with soft ambient dance grooves playing around you. Still there wasn't an atmosphere, other than a group of dancers fresh out of Pinapple Dance Studios talking very loudly next to us...A great venue, with a full downstairs area, could be amazing if they only made happy hour a bit less miserable.. :-)
